Zanzibar, The Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA), in collaboration with its partners TAN-RE and ATI, successfully conducted an official training on Takaful Insurance for service providers in the insurance sector on the Islands today, Monday, July 28, 2025. The training took place at the Conference Hall of the Office of the Chief Government Statistician.
Dodoma, June 2025 – The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has officially launched the National Development Vision 2050, which aims to guide the country toward comprehensive social and economic transformation based on inclusivity, innovation, and digital competitiveness. During the Insurance Day celebrations held in Arusha on Friday, June 20, 2025, Bumaco Insurance was honored with a prestigious Hall of Fame Honorary Award presented by the Institute of Insurance Tanzania (IIT) in collaboration with the Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA).

The event, which featured a voluntary walk for awareness, aimed to raise public understanding of the importance of insurance in everyday life. It was part of the national Insurance Week celebrations.
