Dodoma, June 2025 – The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has officially launched the National Development Vision 2050, which aims to guide the country toward comprehensive social and economic transformation based on inclusivity, innovation, and digital competitiveness. The launch ceremony took place in Dodoma and was attended by senior government officials, private sector leaders, civil society organizations, and development partners.
Speaking at the event, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, emphasized that Vision 2050 is a strategic roadmap for building a self-reliant nation with a green, industrialized, and inclusive economy, fully harnessing the power of digital technology.
Among the key sectors prioritized in the Vision is the insurance sector, which has been recognized as a vital pillar for safeguarding the well-being of citizens and promoting sustainable development.
